West Berks Ballet School are thrilled to be returning to Arlington Arts for their exciting double bill of dance. This time they shall be joined by pupils from Aldbourne Ballet School, making a cast of 138 with ages from 5 to 18 years. This is surely the perfect half-term treat for all aspiring dancers!

Beale Park Boat Show – 7th to 9th June 2013 – Child Beale Park, Lower Basildon, Reading

Visitors are invited to take to the water, with a FREE boat trip on the Thames; however if you are thinking of buying a boat, this year’s Show will give you the opportunity to take a test drive on the seven acre lake and maybe even find your dream boat! This years Boat Show will also feature a classic car display, and the Historical Maritime Society will recreate a slice of life at sea in Nelsons Navy.

Rita Ora – Party in the Paddock Sat 8th June – Newbury Racecourse, Newbury RG14 7NZ

Breakthrough artist of 2012 with the most number-one singles in the UK singles chart last year, Londoner Rita Ora will take to the stage to perform huge hits including ‘Shine Ya Light’, ‘Hot Right Now’, ‘How We Do (Party)’ and ‘R.I.P.’ The evening of flat racing will commence at 6.10pm with gates opening well in advance for people to soak up the atmosphere and Rita Ora performing after the last race (approx 9.15pm) as the sun sets on the racecourse.

West Woodhay House Garden Show – 15th and 16th June at West Woodhay, Newbury

West Woodhay House’s gardens are extensive and there is a lot to see – we suggest you plan to arrive early by 11am at the latest to give yourself a full day to explore the gardens and visit all the attractions and stalls. There will be plenty to see and do including – show gardens, gardening talks and a Youth Gardening competition. This promises to be a great day out for all the family!

Newbury Food Festival, Market Place, Newbury – Sunday 30th June 2013
