TRIATHLON CLUB CHALLENGE
Each month we will be running a members event; for April complete a triathlon!

| Who is it open to? |
Everyone – 3 Different Levels
1. Beginner ‘Mini’ Triathlon
• Swim 300m (17 Lengths)
• Cycle 15km
• Run/Walk 3km
2. Sprint
• Swim 750m (42 Lengths)
• Cycle 20km
• Run/Walk 5km
3. Olympic
• Swim 1500m (83 Lengths)
• Cycle 40km
• Run/Walk 10km

| Goal |
To complete a Triathlon (choose level above) for each week of the
challenge. |
| Purpose |
The purpose of the challenge is to encourage improved fitness in
both strong and weak areas. |
| When does it start? |
A new challenge starts 1st June |
| Do I have to complete all events /distances in one go? |
Events: Choose a Triathlon level (Mini, Sprint or Olympic) by the end of the week all 3 events must be completed in order for it to count (Swim, Cycle and Run/Walk) towards an entry into the draw.
Distance: For each event you are able to choose whether you complete the distance in a single session e.g. Mini Triathlon Cycle 15km or you fill in a slip each time you complete a proportion of that distance, providing that by the end of the week your total adds up to the amount required to complete that event.

| How many triathlons can I complete? |
Your aim is to complete one triathlon per week for the duration of the
challenge, which is 4 weeks. Alternatively, you are allowed to complete more
than one per week for multiple entries into the draw. You do not have to do
every week to take part in the challenge. |
| Prizes |
Each completed triathlon will be awarded with one entry into our prize
draw, which will be drawn at the end of the challenge.
How and where can I complete the events?
The cycling event must be completed on the upright/ recumbrant bikes in
the gym; running must be completed on the treadmills and the swimming
event in the Donnington Valley pool, using your preferred stroke(s). |
